BAD BREATH

Finding what causes bad breath is the best way to treat the problem. Certain types of catarrhal problems and lung problems can cause bad breath. These could be sinusitis, emphysema or bronchitis. However, in many cases, the problem of bad breath comes from either teeth or the digestive system.

Proper brushing of the teeth is very important and this will remove rotting food particles that can cause bad breath. Herbs can also help bad breath. One of the most common is parsley. Chlorophyll can also assist.

If our digestive system is causing the problem there are other steps we need to take. It may be that our digestive bacteria is out of balance as there is not enough Lactobacillus acidophilus present because of an infestation of Candida albicans. This can lead to bad breath, flatulence and indigestion. Lactobacillus acidophilus is the bacteria used to make yoghurt and that bacteria lives in the gastro-intestinal tract. It is important for normal digestion so eating plenty of yoghurt each day can help.

As Lactobacillus acidophilus can also be reduced following antibiotic therapy or when you suffer from gastroenteritis, a supplement of Lactobacillus acidophilus is the best way to normalise the gut flora and lead to good health.

Following all of the above suggestions, drinking plenty of water and having a balanced diet should eliminate the problem.
